Bluetooth delay on answering

When I get calls, it takes my BT headset a couple of seconds (like four or five maybe) before it starts passing audio. Now, I have a pretty cheap headset (blue light special at Kmart--no kidding), so I would like to know if it is just my cheap headset or if everyone has seen this.

Mine has a bit of a delay as well....not as severe as yours though. Both my older Motorola BT headset and my current Plantronrics has about the same delay.

And then another question would be "is this delay normal for other phones as well"?

I have the same problem in my car. I have it pared with JVC KD-AVX33 and every time i pick up the phone it takes about 3-5 sec before you can talk.
