So just started having problems when couldn't hear anything dialing voicemail or incoming calls or outgoing calls... etc.
I rebooted the phone and now it all works again...
I don't know WHY... things went wrong and audio went off, because last night I called and talked with my GF for a while and it worked fine.
Anyways - anybody else have any problems since the RC30 flash? (did OTA not manual)
Thx and heads up!

This reminds me of half the UMA calls I made on my BB Curve 8320.
UMA . . . Don't miss it at all!

If this happens again...you should make sure that Boob-tooth isn't on when you dial someone up. I had paired my headset with the phone..and even with me being at work and the headset at home...the G1 defaults to the BT headset. I had to (for every bloody call!) click settings and bring up the menu with "Speakerphone/Blue Tooth".
So now...if i know i'm going to talk to someone for quite a while (like laying in bed)...i turn on the headset. I shut off BT since it saps my battery juice pinging it all the time.

I've had the same problem recently. However I did the Update OTA. A reboot corrected the problem. I didn't have any issues like this until the OTA RC30. Who are we supposed to tell at google when we have issues like this?

My phone did the same about 2 weeks ago. i was on RC30 for a couple days at least before the issue so not sure if its related. Also not sure of any activity and was using the phone about 30 minutes with no problem before the issue. Confirmed with GF on other end that she didnt hear me, and nor i her.
Took me about an hour (and hitting my head on my counter) to think about powering off and turning it back on. It seemed to fix it and has not happened since. However i restart my phone every night before bed now since the alarm will not sound aloud in the morning if i dont.

Randomly when using the wired headset, when I pick up the call I can hear the caller but they cant hear me talking. I have to unplug the headset and plug it back in.
I usually keep my phone in silent mode or vibrate and am not sure if this is part of the bug or not.

I have had the same thing happen twice on my phone. I have only had it a few days and last night I had no audio in or out. I turned off the phone and then it worked. It happened again today ... had to repeat the same thing. I am so new to all of this I do not even know what this RC30 thing is. Lawdy I am behind in the times. If there is anyway I can solve this problem, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks much!
