Video Player No Landscape mode?

does anyone know how to get it to landscape. i press menu and nothing comes up. touching the screen only gives me play options. tilting it doenst do anything.

Video Player uses the acceloramater... simply move your G1 horizontal, and the screen switches to the landscape mode. Tilt the G1 back to vertical (portrait) and again, the screen automatically switches.

Not sure why this isn't working for you, it works every time, and quickly, when I play a video on Video Player.

Video player works fine for me too.... in Landscape and Portrait

Check compass mode in maps, my accelorometer was broken, had to replace the phone

humm interesting with my htc dash i had same issue to play a youtube video it would play in landscape i had to turn the phone it was annoying.
