Aim/yahoo/Notification questions

After researching thru alot of problems that the g1 has, im almost sold on it, But being that i use Aim/yahoo and i do alot of buisness thru emails, theres only a couple of things thats holding me back from buying the phone...so if anyone can answer these please do so...

1. After the update is anyone noticing if the Aim app, or meebo app is doing a better job of staying connected or working right

2. Is there a problem with the yahoo messenger app, or since the update is it working better if there was one...

3. Is the notifications working for aim/yahoo and emails yet?

Yea I've read that too and never understood it...I have had zero problems with the email app and I've had an aol linked, an aim linked, a yahoo and another gmail at the same time.

so its not a absolute problem with the g1? cause other people were making it sound like it was just a all out problem that was waiting to be fixed... one of the main reason ive been shying away from the phone, next to the space and battery of course..
