Shapwriter - Beta (Download Avialiable)

You can get that shapewriter beta apk insialler from www.shapewriter.com/andbeta.html (http://www.shapewriter.com/andbeta.html)
Download the file directly to you phone. Then install app installer from the marketplace so you can install the application.

Then goto settings > applications and tick to allow unknown sources (if you dare!).

Run app installer, install shapewriter and walla! You a now a beta tester for an amazing virtual keyboard.

Works pretty well for me, still can improve on a few things but like it says its a beta app.

will only switch to landscape when the keyboard is out whats the point? It also crashes when I try and send a text. and for some reason this keyboard app is using the gps wtf?

yea u can only use the keyboard in this app to send sms/email

also it does crash for me when i try to send sms.

yea the gps is turned on so when you make notes or whatever
it searches your location and records where you made that note from

reminder this is still in beta

so u cant complain too much..

it wouldn't be that bad if it would switch to landscape and give an option to not use the gps. It's definatly better then the other softkeyboard out at least there heading in the right direction.

I experiencing the same problem. It crashes everytime i try to send a text message :confused:

Doesn't work as well as I wanted it to... also crashes. Somewhat of a letdown since I was waiting on these folks, but again it's beta. Hope they work on the one-stroke accuracy tho since that's the thing that had me excited but writing "today" had me writing "toast" along with a few other inaccuracies. it worked 60% of the time for me, I had better typing accuracy just typing on the onscreen keys the old fashioned way. They'll get a pass for this since this isn't a market app & it's beta... if they execute this better then I'll be a happy camper.
