Found this link, on another board, to a nice To do application:

http://www.jsharkey.org/downloads/TodoList.apk

You'll need to go into Settings/Applications and check the box allowing apps from unknown sources.

I downloaded it, and it works very well.

Still basic, no due dates, no alarms, no catagories, but better then what I've seen so far out there.

It's by the programmer Jeffery Sharkey, who wrote iTunes Remote (not familiar, but you can go to his home page, www.jsharkey.org and read about him)

Enjoy!:o

Aren't there a couple of those on the market already?

I miss this kind of app. My Dash had a nice one that I used almost everyday.

I keep getting a cheery and generic message saying "Application install unsuccessful." I've downloaded non-market apps on my G1 from the internet before with no problem. Any ideas? I rebooted the phone and downloaded the app thrice to make sure it wasn't just corrupted.

It looks like a nice app.

Someone else posted that it doesn't install with 3G, he got an error, but installing with wifi worked fine.

I used wifi, clicked on the link, it downloaded and asked if I wanted to install, and I replied yes.

Installed fine, and seems to work fine.

Txblue, you should be able to simply click on the link, and the G1 should handle everything for you.

Works for me. I downloaded it onto my computer then used the ADB program from the Android SDK to install it onto my phone.
Pretty sold. I've been using it for a few weeks already.

I probably should have mentioned, it's easier if you go to the link using your G1 rather then your computer.

Then, simply click on the link above, and it should install onto your G1.
