MySpace vs. Facebook

When I join MySpace and Facebook long time ago, I find MySpace to be a much better place and you can do lots of stuff there while I found Facebook to be too simple and not enough features on there. You can not even do much at Facebook at all.

Now Facebook made lots of changes there and I heard lots of complaints about the new Facebook. Why people complain about the new Facebook is beyound me. In fact, I found Facebook to be better than MySpace now.

I was going to do a poll about what people think of the new Facebook but I know I am going to get complaints so I decided to do a poll comparing Facebook vs MySpace.

Most geek use facebook.. It so much more cleaner than myspace...

The only time I use myspace is when I want to hear some kind of punk band to see how they sound...

To me social networking is pointless, but then again -- so are many of the other things I enjoy. In comparing the two however, I have no favorite. They're about the same to me.

Facebook and myself didn't get along, t wouldn't let me block people whom I did not want to ever see or hear from again. On the other hand myspace let me block anyone I wanted, easy choice I think.

Myspace is too cluttered for me, I like the look of the new facebook and the facebook chat that it offers at the bottom of the page.

I am a facebook user since the beginning. I enjoyed facebook back then because it allowed me to network with my college friends at the University of Florida and was a great tool. On a side note Go Gators, Spurrier we will always remember you for the good times, but sorry your Gamecocks are in our way to the BCS Championship game ... BACK TO FACEBOOK ... However, now that facebook has been completely open source, the site has becom VERY CONFUSING, CLUTTERED, and most IMPORTANTLY SLOW! This is the reason why their are groups of people who say they hate the New facebook. If you poll a majority of these users, you will find they are the old loyal users rather than the new users. However, i still prefer facebook over myspace ...

Nobody i know uses facebook...

Not having a Myspace is like not having a cell phone..

I have both, but seldom go to MySpace anymore. It seems to be more for the kids to me. I love facebook, I have connected with old friends, people I chat with a lot on other message boards, etc.

IMO, Facebook is more adult oriented, i have found elementary, middle and highschool friends, old neighbors, family, my highschool sweetheart, you name it. Its just better to connect with people. Used to have a Myspace page but no more. As an example to the FB more adult oriented, my little (19) brother has a Myspace, i have told him about FB, created an acct but says its boring to him, i guess he likes shiny things and glitter. :p

I like myspace cause its alot more customizable and i cant stand the "join this app" band wagon.. It has become a notorious excessive and unwanted action of mouse and click movements to get envoled in the 10 sent every day ,much less the motion and time spent in trying to avoid them.

This leaves an impression that myspace is worse in a lesser manner! I think it is biased also.. the poll starter i can assume favors facebook.

I left MySpace for FaceBook after getting 5 friend requests a day with scantily-clad 20 year old hotties telling me how cute I am and asking me to check out their websites (I'm nearly 40 - highly doubt they want anything to do with Grandpa). I think I've received MAYBE 1 spam from FaceBook since I joined them back in July.
