Weird music player issue

I have a almost 8 gigs of music on my phone. Yet EVERY time I play music in the shuffle mode, it starts with the same song.
1 bourbon, 1 scotch, 1 beer by George Thorogood.

The 2nd song is alway different. It's no big deal, but it is a little annoying.

Do you thing it's because of the title starting with the #1?

Anyone else have this issue?

Most likely it starts off with the 1st song. What do you do to initialte the shuffle mode anyway? Are you talking about party shuffle?

I have the same 'randomness' on some of my other devices, but I cannot remember which ones (P2, WM6 or iPod?) but the first song in my playlist is 100% (by AngelSpit) and it always plays first. I hit 'next' and it goes to a random track.

I always figured that was the way it was supposed to work...

i can only assume its b/c its at the very top of your list.

what i normally did was turn the shuffle option on, then flick my thumb on the song list and pick one at random to start on.

I open music player, tap on artists, when the list comes up, I hit menu and "shuffle all"
