Hiding an application?

Okay I know i know...use the search button, but I seriously tried and I can't seem to find anything. I'm curious if their is anyway to hide applications in the menu? For example...like in the Black Berry Curve, you could hide the applications without uninstalling it. So is there anyway? Thanks!

What do mean by hide, exactly? "Hiding" on the blackberry mean erasing the icon from the menu. Is that what you want? If so, then just long-press the icon and toss it into android's garbage can (on one of the three virtual screens, that is).

Thank you for your reply, but I was talking about the pull down menu. So is there anyway to reduce the apps on that? :confused:
