I'm on my 3rd G1 and I think I'm finally pleased with the hardware this time around (even though my home button is rotated about 15 degrees to the left)
On my latest one- which came with R28 out of the box, but no headphone adapter-
I see that there is a much bigger protective film over the camera lens. This one has a little pull tab on it like the screen ones.
My two previous G1's did not have a protective screen over the lens- at least not that I noticed.. I always suspected there was one sitting on it, because it had a look like there was a film over it- but i didnt want to take an Xacto to it and find out.
Now that I've seen this one, with an obvious tab on it, (and it has the same "film" look to it)
I suspect that perhaps the other two might have had a form-fitted film on it.. who knows.. look at yours and judge for yourself.
