phone rings and vibrates even with the vibrate option un checked

I am trying to figure out how to turn off the vibrate option on my incredible. Ever since I got the new OS update it does both. I went to settings and selected sound settings and the box is unchecked under the Vibrate option. So I am not sure what other setting could be causing this? Also my voice to txt stopped working. running kernel 2.6.35.13-g55a06e5 android version 2.3.4

Use Ear for switching profiles. I can individually control volume and vibration for phone, alerts and mail. :)

About your second issue,Go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Voice Search>Clear Data. and you will be able to perform voice

to txt again.
