Clear Case for G1!

Found this on another forum. The poster said he bought it at a T-Mo store.

For you that don't know, those things in the back on the phone are retractable legs that you fold out so you can sit the phone either vertical or horizontal to watch a movie.

yea i saw these when i went to exchange my bronze for black, pretty good price too i think it was like $10, i liked that the opening for the speaker/camera wasn't shaped like heart lol

lol, so true. What's the deal with the heart? I mean... I love my G1 one, and all, but to have a heart on the back...? I think I'll pass, thanks.

The clear case does not cover the screen itself, right? You would just need a screen cover for it?

picked one of these up at the t-mobile store it works good but does not cover the screen itself.

have it also, pretty nice case for $$$. The built in kickstand is a neat feature

do they sell these in non 3g areas?
and can we order via customer service/online?

Im in a "non 2G area" and they sell them here. Why order it online and have to wait for it and pay for shipping when you can go to any Tmo store and probably the kiosks and pick it up.

I have one as well.
It's great.
It also gives added protection when you drop the phone.
Which I have. Several times.

I think this is the most useless case ever for the following reasons:

1) It does not protect the screen, which is where you would most likely receive scratches that you would notice a daily basis.

2) It provides no impact protection either. Drop the phone with this case on and it is exactly the same as dropping it without this case (as far as damage to the to the phone beyond scuffs).

3) It makes your phone Very Very Very cheap and ugly looking.

I like the idea of the kickstands. But would I ever really use them...probably not. And is it worth the amount of ugly it adds to the phone... absolutely not.

I figured if you dropped the phone the case would go flying off where it snaps together at.

Is there even a hard case that does protect the screen??? I have one of the Tmo cases on my phone and doesnt look as good as a naked g1. I have dropped the phone prior to having the case and the material that surrounds the phone chips and scuffs EASY. I unfortunately have dropped the phone even with the case, and while the initial impact on the phone isnt really absorbed, the screen is protected from going down flat.
