I opened the package, it came in a bubbled envelope with nothing but a battery. the battery wasn't even wrapped in a plastic bag like how it was in the box when we first got the phone.
The battery was beat up. yes, literally it was beat up.
It had a bunch of scratches all over and plus one spot looks like it got stabbed with something pointy like a screw driver or something.
I was about to call tmo right away, but then I thought they would ask me if it work or not. so I'm gonna wait until I use it at least one full time until it dies.
but seriously, I'm not happy with that at all.
how they give me a stabbed battery.

...... must we complain about EVERYTHING?? if the battery works and you might even have a GOOD battery, why call them and send it back to risk getting a defective battery? come on now, dont give tmo unnecessary problems

I got my replacement battery today and it's the same deal... no package, bubble envelop, looks like a used battery.

yeah, probably batteries that were defective and they did whatever process them to fix so it doesn't drain as fast as our initial batches. Hell....i'll give you my new battery then from the first batch of batteries that drains very fast, and you can send me your beat up/probably 2x better battery, its a deal lol

I didn't send nothing back. and servicing customers is their job
anyway as long as the battery works I'm fine

Be happy you were able to get one. I called support and told them my phone was not lasting more then 3 hours without any usage. She said, that is about right, think of it as a laptop not a phone.
I mentioned a friend of mine was able to get a replacement battery and she told me how HTC is aware of the battery life problems and has requested no replacements be sent out until they have a better solution :(

tell them you bought a smartphone not a laptop and they need to send you a new battery or a new phone if they have no batteries.
