So I was unable to activate my G1 where I live because I moved to a non T-mobile area and always roaming.

I sent my G1 to a friend and had him activate the phone for me and I registered the sim that came with the phone.

I called Rep to activate my old sim so that I could use my old phone until the G1 gets shipped back to me.

Rep told me I couldnt reuse a sim once it was changed. I thought this was bull because I have swiched between used sims in the past.

Is this TRUE?

Not true. I'm using my sim card from my Dash in my G1 right now. The sim card that came with my G1 is still in the plastic thing.

Rep told me I couldnt reuse a sim once it was changed. Every SIM needs to be registered to it's own phone in order to work right. Yes, Sim swaping can be done but the TMO rep was right on the information he/she has provided to you. :)
