What Do You Like Or Love About The G1?

OK with all the negativity about why people hate the G1 I thought it would be nice to start a thread on why we like or love the G1.

Well I like how it feels in my hand.
I like how I have total freedom to make the G1 my G1.
I love the whole concept.
I love all the different apps.
I like how I can open up several web pages.
I cant think of anymore right now. :)
Im glad I got this phone and I look forward to see what the future holds for Android. Well now its your turn. Dont make this a thread were people comment with smart @ss comments saying things like "Your reason are dumb" Lets keep this happy people.

3. Attention to detail and simplicity in UI design, Google's speciality.
4. Quick updates.
5. Convenience of ota sync and updates. Never have to connect to the computer for those reasons.
6. Awesome screen and fast browser.
7. DRM free MP3s.

1:So today I am on my couch and on the phone. I get restless as i usually get while in very long conversations, I hit home button, pull up 'asquare' and whaam I am playing my game and talking at the same time...it was soo cool. Then when I was done with the phone call, I fired up 'imeem' and played my game and jammed to my favorite artists all at once! This phone is amazing!! Love it.

2:I-phone users seem to go mute around my phone... (seriously I am never one to compare both phones) My friend kept going on and on about how her phone was better and I finally whipped out my phone and started playing with it and everyone on the table was like wow!!! They don't have shopsavvy, imeem or locale (at least that's what she said) and those apps are way cool! She was the second iphone user that could not provide a healthy challenge for the G-1! MMM....

and oh yeah for some reason the quality of the phone itself seems remarkable...the rubber backing and the sound it makes when that jont locks...SMOOOTTHHH...I can imagine the women having their 'white' thinkin their the shyt haha Im sticking with my black on black

LOL. ^^^ You sound like me talking about the computer with you thing. But for me its my laptop in my pocket. I bought a 4GB SanDisk card today so I can load up the movies and music for when I go back to work since I cant tether yet.

Is this OS getting better or what? Man we can do so much with this phone. Everyone keeps asking me can it do this? or what can it do? All I can tell them is it does a lot. :)

I like that the Android Market doesn't make developers jump through invisible and (seemingly) inconsistent hoops.

I also like that some enterprising people under the name 'Zebra Crossing' have developed an open source library to read barcodes. I especially like that said library is not GPL licensed.

I love the way it looks and feels, I love the size of the keyboard. The apps are really neat and they are free its a neat little phone. Android rocks !
