I am the UK customer, and is there any UK user get the replacement? I called the CS about it, they told me UK version is differ from US version, you can exchange, but nothing will be changed, you still can not get the adaptor of headset! And the sofrware version is still TR5-RC7.

Any UK user have changed one?
And you guys who got the new one, what is your battery life now??

Anyway if you are talkin about the UK Version of the G1, it is still on TC5-RC7 and it doesnt seem that there are any updates coming out in the near future as far as i can see !

Oh yeah, the battery life still sucks big ones aswell !

The update for uk G1 is coming, although it seems like a simple fix of the root control bug...

I did exchange a new one in a t mo store in london

actually, the sales guy opened 5 boxes before finding a G1 without the problems of the sunk keys, but there is no headset adapter can be found in the boxes

I guess, currently all the G1s in the UK are still from the initial batch

let's see if there is any improvement/ extra accessories after the G1 black is back in stock

Hi man, wot is the problem fo your old one? And did the battery perform better than your old one? I am in London as well.

I got mine today (UK) and no headphone adapter.
What makes me angry is that the sim card has not been activated, still on emergency calls. I called TM and they said it had been canceled.

I called CPW and they said to wait upto 24 hours for the sim to work. Meantime bugger all I can do with the set as it insists on giving me a gmail account before I can pick my nose with it. ggrrrr
