sd card reader for galaxy s

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to connect an sd card reader to a samsung galaxy s by the usb port? In simple terms, I'm not too technically savvy and just trying to find out if I can do this. Any help is appreciated!

I think you can just get the sd card from your cellphone and put it on the card reader and connect to a computer/laptop. Or much easier way is just connect the usb wire of your cellphone to your cellphone and connect it to your computer.
