Android Gaming Project Discussion

Greetings Sir/Madam!


Iam a student of University at Lahore,Pakistan. Iam doing my final Year Project with two fellows of mine as a group and a supervisor with us.


My Group wants to do an android gaming project.It would be very gr8ful if anyone could help answering the following questions


Our Major Questions are:


1) Which Game Engine (Free/Open Source) you Prefer to make a game smiliar to Metal Slug http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8Rl__X3NDc (in Android) ?
2) Which Tools You Prefer to be used for Making animated game characters like the one seen here on the main page

4) Any Suggestions for Our Project? Any game u can recommend to do as Final year project?

To answer your questions:

1. There arent many Android game sdks. You can try Corona, which is cross platform with iPhone. But costs $$$.

2. I use Flash for animation. It's the best tool hands down.
