I've asked this before and i've used search and cant find a direct answer. Is there any way to delete some of the apps that came on the phone? You cant do it thru manage apps.

you'd more than likely need root access to the phone in order to remove any manufacturer installed applications... one of the reasons why root is important to some people, like the ones that know how to program and now how to navigate the android/linux stack... small functional reasons that we would like to change

What apps are you trying to delete? Hopefully not any of the fuctional apps on the phone like the browser, dialer, contacts and such. There isnt anything really to replace those with.

I got it. Go to your "Settings" then click on "Applications" then click on "Manage applications" then it will show you all the apps you have installed in alphabetical order along with the size. Then long press on the one you want to delete. Thats it.

This does not allow you to delete applications. This allows you to delete data stored by the application.

You have to go back to the Market and find the app you want to remove, then delete it...

That won't work for the original question. It was how to delete the "included apps." Those aren't in the market.

MobileMan is right. That is the way to uninstall Market Apps. But, I haven't found a way to delete the factory installed Apps that came with the phone.
