Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Does anyone recommend a stereo headset that has good quality for the G1?

G1 does not yet support stereo bluetooth. :(

Yea, they need to fix a lot of things. My worst pet peeve is having to forward pictures I receive as text messages in order to save them. Or no file manager, etc.....

Personally, I love my S9's. For an active lifestyle they're perfect.

The G1 doesnt support A2DP Bluetooth yet so you might wanna hold off. BUT, $20 for those headphones is a good price. Bestbuy sells em for $99.

Are you sure they're not fakes, according to the UK ebay, there's some (including the lovely Hong Kong sellers) which do them for about £10 ($20) , and others that sell them at about £40 ($80).

MrGibbage is right why do you need to kill the app. I am loving my G1. Just wish it was out before I send over a grand on my last 3 phones.

I guess you wouldnt really need to kill the BG apps, if its truly in a suspended state.

Back to the OP's original topic, I was wondering if I bought the mini-usb (or whatever the connection we have to charge/connect headphones) to 3.5mm adaptor, can you use a bluetooth adaptor like this:

I, like the OP, would like to have some type of wireless headset. The gym sucks without music. :(

because they keep on thinking that it slows down their phone and kills the battery...

turn off 3g... if you don't know how to go to:

settings > wireless controls > mobile networks > use only 2g networks...

my battery lasts 3 days easy when not utilizing 3G... even having 3g on in an idle state is a battery drain, just like i've stated again and again, even before the g1 release...

Yes, I think the BT adapters, like the JB-BA-100M on that page, should work just fine. All they do is take the stereo audio that is coming out of the jack and transmit it over BT.

And yes, the apps in the BG are in a suspended state. There's really no need to kill them. I wouldn't fret over them at all. The OS will take care of them just fine.

becasuse there is no stereo blue tooth, does that mean If you use them you will get sound in only one ear? or would you get mono in both?

I think the headset will work. Reason being is I have played music through my Jabra BT 500v ear piece using the music player that was installed on the G1. So I believe it will work. For what the headset is worth I may just order to give them a try. I could always using them with my desktop.

I went to every place in town: hhgregg, bestbuy, radioshack, circuit city... I ended up buying at the AC store too. With all the time spent looking for it I would of had the adaptor already. I'm just going to use some head phones i have with the adaptor, it will do for now.

lol soon... That term doesnt mean jack. i was told for a YEAR that a cool new phone is coming(the G1) and you dont want to leave t-mobile "Trust me its worth waitng for" lol a year later here is a the G1
