G1 Camera App Help

Hey all,

I'm about to start working on an application for a smartphone, that will require decent quality streaming from the camera. When I say "decent quality", I mean I want to be able to stream 640*480 (VGA) footage at about 30fps. I know the G1 doesn't have video software, but that's not a problem because the Android SDK has the libraries required. I just need to know if the hardware on the G1 will be capable of this?

Is anyone out there developing a G1 app that would use the camera that can maybe help me on this? I need to know soon, because I need to hurry up and decide which phone to use!

Actually at present the SDK doesnt contain the ability to do video, otherwise I would have already done it.
