this is really getting annoying

i'm always running out of disc space . i don't think these guys are going to make it to where all the programs are installed on the SD card , they would have done it by now.

i always have to delete different programs and i'm always low in disc space causing my phone to slow down a lot . having to reboot to close programs running in the background is just irking the **** out of me as well

anyone else keeps running out of disc space?

I keep running out of disk space too. Also, in "these guys" defense, it has proven to be a really difficult process to put the apps on the sd card. So far noones gotten it, and I had to factory rest my phone as a result of my attempts to do this.....We may have to wait for Google to do this for us.

I agree, give it time, eventually we will get the applications onto the sd card.

it would only make sense for them to let us put apps in our sd. when they eventually start charging for apps, it would be a bad move for them because how are people expected to buy apps if they have no room on their phone? hope it happens soon. i been running on 10mb for over 2 weeks now.

If your running out of disk space then that mean's, Start uninstalling app's you dont use. And free up some space. :p

What I think is this.
Right now, all the apps are free and "these guys" are gonna start charging in 2009, at least that's what I've heard. so for now, "these guys" let you taste what you can get with this great phone by letting you download few apps to the phone.
then when they start charging for the apps, that's when they're gonna upgrade the OS so it can store apps in SD card, so we can "buy" more apps then.

I haven't heard or read anything, it's just what I think.

i didn't realize apps weren't stored on SD, so i bought an 8GB SD and was sad to see the 'low disk space' warning after transferring files.

Shouldn't you have seen the warning before you started using your 8GB card, then?

No ****, Sherlock. He wasn't referring to the government when he said "these guys" he was referring to Google.

I love you pacifists who wait around complacently for this phone to come around. "Don't worry, they will fix it... I'm sure!" And yet they haven't fixed a lot of the crap they said they were going to fix. It's been over a month, why can't I install applications to the SD card? Oh, that's right, because [read on]

I fixed up your sentence there for ya, buddy.

And if you have use for all of them, such as I do?

I'm enjoying the militant in your face attitude that you're giving for this company.

Basically, you're standing behind the fact that we all paid $400+ for a limited amount of free samples. "Here's what your phone could do... now give us more money."

I haven't read anything

That much is obvious.

yes, i did. Which is why I bought the 8GB card. Then I felt like a dope for not knowing the apps were stored on the phone before I got the card.

You could uninstall applications through Market or Settings.

Settings - manage applications is the easiest way to pick want you want to delete. Otherwise run phonebackup app so you can backup your contacts and bookmarks to the sd disk, then do a factory reset, run market and download all the apps you previously downloaded.
