I personally dislike them because the raised buttons would make it look weird.

Have dealt with this company. Poor customer service.Waited 8 days for a tracking number. Emailed and ask what it was. They still had not shipped the order. They didn't even apologize, just said they would ship it that day (7-10 days USPS). No concern about their customers.. sad.

I agree, I ordered something and never got it, they never replied to my emails either.

Just ordered from Gyvergear.com and was extremely pleased with their fast service and order accuracy. I was hesitant to order due to REG29's review; however, I couldn't find anyone else on line that could beat their prices. I ordered on Dec 3rd, paid through Paypal and my order arrived complete, today, on Dec 5th....shipped from California to East Coast via USPS. VERY FAST! I'll order from them again in the future.

I ordered a phone case from them; I sent them an email 7 days later asking for status. Never got confirmation email from them when item purchased. Use Paypal if you order from this site. Was advised that item was in process of being shipped. So far, I can't recommend purchasing from these guys. Ordered a charger from 'Onlymytouch' and had it four days later.

We've decided to leave this thread open for the time being. I'm not big on censoring posts/threads, and based on the information provided it seems like there's some valid discussion going on. It's nice to see TheGyverMan helping to sort out issues, which goes to show that you have quality customer service. I've dealt with refunds on eBay purchases, and you kindly refunded his order when he wasn't satisfied. So those are big bonuses in your corner.

Based on the following quote (and the limited amount of information in this thread):

The argument seems to be about how long it took for the actual product to ship. Not product quality, or your response times, or similar. Basically, how long it took to put the package in the mail.

Yesterday being 6/16/2010, and the original purchase day being 6/7/2010 -- that sure seems like a massive gap in order shipment time (9 days to be exact). Now, of course shipping doesn't happen at 11:38PM at night, so this will roll over to today, which would mean that it took 10 days to ship the item out (10 days = a week and 3 days).

10 days wait for the item to be put in the mail is significant. If there was a backorder or lag from the supplier, etc -- I'd expect some kind of notification.

Now, I know this doesn't take into account all of the communication and such that goes on -- but I'd say discussing how long it took to get an order out as a valid discussion point/argument.

I can't comment on the confirmation issue, but it might be spam filter related. Anyway, I think the highlight of his post was that the item took so long to ship. Reg29's even earlier post backs that up.

Anyway, I'm not here to make an argument one way or another -- just explaining why we're leaving it open. I fully believe consumers have the right in an open forum to talk about their purchase experience, and you have a right to counter claim.

EDIT: And yes the shipping policy does say the following:

In Stock items generally ship within 1 to 7 business days even if you have paided for overnight. Orders after 4pm process the next business day.
Out of Stock items could take up to two weeks or more to ship. The shipping department will contact you if there will be a delay if its longer than two weeks.
All SnapOn Covers are subject to special order which takes extra time to process order to ship.

So, if the item is in stock -- and we discount the weekend and the day the order was made (worst case scenario and business days only) means it should've shipped yesterday -- violating your own shipping policy.

If it wasn't in stock, then the person is in limbo land (until they get a shipping notice or 2 weeks pass)?

Yes you are right we are about 12 hours behind. LOL

Well we can say we do ship out 1000's of orders and seem like only the 1% complain and voice in forums like this, but you will never hear about the othe 99% that are happy because. We have been serving since 1992 no company can stay in business that long doing things wrong, would you agree?

But we do understand negitive is good for business also.

I fully understand that. It's hard to show the amount of happy customers vs not. ;)

It's nice to see you coming out here and responding to those with negative comments though. It shows how reputable you are as a business, and how far you're willing to go to keep the customers happy.

Thank you. We do get our share of over the top customers like most companies do.

We have delt with PayPal since 2002 and they have change some items which we do have a problem with. When a customer makes a purchase the email sent was for the merchant/company but now its worded not to seem like there is communication from
the merchant/company. Also the email that is sent from the system, you can't do a auto reply because it comes from the PayPal system. So we know the issues and we are working on the issues as we go.

I guess the record will speak for its self. BBB.org "A" rating

I can say we have had to fire staff member for dropping the ball.
When people leave some of their task leave with them.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Thank you for your comments, but in reality it took you 10 days to put this item in the mail! Everyone else I buy from on line sends out an automated email. I receive three emails. One from the company and another from Paypal at purchase and the last from the company when shipped. I really feel that your initial response to me was over the top. I purchase frequently from on line stores, and most are much more courteous. I felt compelled to dispute the purchase, when it had not shipped after 7 business days which violates your own stated policy.

Before, the advent of online forums it was impossible to find information about products and vendors. Now I am able to do research about products before I purchase and occasionally vendors. When a product does not perform or a vendor does not perform, the consumer now has an opportunity and an obligation to notify others.
