question for everyone who has gotten a replacement G1

I was wondering what people who have gotten a replacement G1 due to the screen "creaking" problem, think about the new unit they received.

Please make sure to specify whether you got a WARRANTY exchange or a REMORSE exchange!

If you received your new G1 and then sent back your original G1 -- then you probably did a WARRANTY exchange.

If you had to send back your original G1, and then wait for your new G1 to arrive -- then you probably did a REMORSE exchange.

i walked mine into the store and the exchanged it for a new one. The screen on the new one feels very solid compared to my first one and it doesnt have that incredibly annoying creek. On the other hand when the screen is flipped open it does appear to have the slightest wobble but it doesnt seem like an issue right now. Other than that the phone is working great. Battery life sucked the first two days but dramatically improved much like the first phone after a few good complete charge cycles.

don't worry it will start creaking again. my new one didn't at first, but it's starting again.

i've modified it myself with a razor blade, engine oil, and a toothpick to solve the problem

Did you have to send back current handset first for remorse exchange?

Did you get a whole new box and everything for each of the replacements?
