I heard the guy already update his last.fm program in the market so it can play the playlist on the website. I haven't try it yet but if it works than I will keep the program.

just went and searched, it has been updated! argg they need to improve the market.

woo it can play my neighborhood, recoommendations, station, etc. big improvements!

Hey! The player has been updated... how did I miss that? I check the market like every 2 hours. Ok, about to go try it... I can see he still has the same icons... sigh. There are at least "stock" icons one could find on the net that look better than those awful things in that app. I think I will contact him and offer some help...

Just installed aLastFM and joined the group - member #40!

Note the aLastFM Player app now has a "Mute sound on call" tickbox.

How is the player? I dropped it a couple of months ago because it was complete crap, at least imo.

I've been testing out the aLastFM app over the past few days, kitsunisan - it's good, if a little unstable. It will play your last.fm Library, and the regular artist and tag stations. Trying to play a playlist causes an error (at least for me; I have more than one playlist so maybe that's what confuses it), and the buffering is not as good as the imeem player (i.e. a few pauses and gaps both during and between songs), but I expect provided your signal remains constant this isn't a big problem. There's no Pause button of course (again, unlike the imeem app) and the app does tend to crash more often than I've seen with other Market apps... but since imo Last.fm is vastly superior to imeem, it's the only real choice currently for streaming audio.

i've noticed it stops when something requires the sd card, not sure why that is since it doesn't use the sd card. but yeah its the only streaming player i use despite its flaws.

Not yet - I've been using Orb (which can't be scrobbled), aLastFM and imeem on my G1 so I don't actually have any mp3s to scrobble on the SD card yet :o

I'll probably buy a decent size card soon (previously I used a 30GB Creative Zen player so I'm used to having a fair chunk of my library with me), so once I sort that out, scrobbledroid will become another essential app.

Bah. Scrobbledroid doesn't seem to upload for me. I can log on through the link, so I know it's not the u/n or password. No errors, just... nothing...
