Oooo.. what is turbo function?
and also, is it a little faster. and also, i noticed when i did the update i had 13% battery. after the self restart the home screen came up and showed me 20% and i was back in the orange.. interesting.. so battery has improved with rc30 i guess?

Yah! Now you can putting racing stripes and a spoiler on it. Maybe make it so when you slide open the keyboard you get a reving engine sound :)

Eh, just a quick observation since the rc30 update went through on my phone ~1am this morning. I got to work @10am, signed on to AIM on my computer and my phone notified me that AIM was signed in twice. That means during the reboot this morning it signed me onto AIM and actually stayed connected for 8 hours. I'd have to say that is the longest period of time that it's kept me connected to AIM but that could be just me. It seems like everyone is asking for a changelog. It would be nice if there was a RSS feed we could all subscribe to that posted the latest update (source code changes). It is the 21st century after all and google reader works wonderfully. :-)

I'm noticing the same.... at 73% and connected to 3g. AIM is still connected. I'm very surprised.

I received it automatically but like the other updates, you can probably get it manually.

Battery life it's definetly better, before arround this time I would be at about 30% of battery life, I got the RC30 update this AM and I still got 52% and I have been surfing the net a lot today since it's my day off.

i havent noticed any diff since getting the update this morning (i had to force the rc29 update on in, and as soon as it rebooted it prompted me to install the rc30 update) except for my WiFi dropping its connection constantly. Im trying to figure out if its my router or my G1.

My battery life is definitely better with rc30.
Usually by the end of the day I'm looking at an orange battery meter. Now, it's always green at the end of the day. Much better.

Just got my RC30 update this morning from RC19. It's been on the charger until now. I just disconnected it and I'll see if the battery is better. It was abismal before. It looks like I have 3G at three bars now instead of two. If there was something in the update that improved signal reception, it is likely that is where the battery life improvement is coming from.
