has anyone else noticed??

yeah, so it was my day off yesterday
and i pretty much just watched tv all day

and i noticed something strange....

there were soooooo many iphone commercials... to the point where it was getting a little annoying, lol and it was starting to feel kind of desperate. i've never in my life, seen that many iphone commercials

is apple scared?? lol its funny because just 2 months ago they rarely had any commercials but now that the g1 is out, they have commercials on the air, like every 5 seconds.

and you know what else is funny??... in one of their commercials, they were showing off the app called Shazam, like it was "exclusively" for the iphone or something. lmao do they not know, that shazam made an app for the g1 also??

then it got me thinking, i'm pretty sure you guys have seen the attacks that apple does on PC's in their commercials, you know "i'm a mac" and "i'm a pc"


lol do you think they would do that with the g1?? because its obvious that they feel threatened! and the holidays are coming so you know this could get nasty!:D

That would be funny if they do get into it. All my friends with iphones hate me because I stay bragging about the open source and how much better the g1 is. We shall see how ugly apple wants to get though.

Apple knows that its going to have to step up its game. I understand that the iphone has been out longer so it has a longer track record but i still think that they are really feeling the heat.

There's a lot of investor concern about the impact of the credit crunch on Apple, not least via declining sales of Apple products. Share price almost halved over this year. I guess the ads are Apple's way to counter these concerns and try and maintain market position. Entirely natural I guess. :)

there should just be a commercial for Tmobile's G1 phone that says simple this.

"EVERYONE ELSE SUCKS. BUY OUR PHONE".
