Bronze G1 still with RC19

WDF! :mad: Im still on RC19.... Beyond wack. Is anyone else? Friends trying to say that is because i got the Bronze... Any other Bronze still have the 19? :eek:

What could be the reason that people aren't getting the updates at the same time? Or even within a few days from eachother.. something doesn't seem right.

rc29 and down, except 19 i guess because i tried it and nothing happened, had a bug, every time you typed in "reboot" the phone would reboot so i guess they stoped rc29 and worked on an update that fixed that which is now rc30 i believe.

The updates aren't meant for everyone to receive, but if you want it, you can manually install them on your phone via the SD card. It's pretty simple to do.

I was stuck at RC19 till last night as well. I finally went and manually updated to RC29. Immediately after updating I was offered the RC30 update which I am now running. Not sure why RC19 phones are slipping through the cracks but if you really want to update to it manually. You can find out how by searching these forums. GL.

i have bronze and got rc29 on the first week they started updating
and got 30 updates already. I think it was sometime last week.

RC 30 was the patch to fix Root REBOOT bug (I've also heard reports of the network scanning fix for battery life as well). However, I've had bronze RC19 for ever now too. I believe when they manufactured all bronze got put on some shelf and forgotten.

If you have RC19 bronze phone and have tested reboot bug and are now unable to connect to data network, do not do a factory reset...you will be locked out of phone and forced to get another. I am set to recieve it in 4-5 days (they also charged me for the phone until they get thier bronze one back :/).

Too let you know it is not because you have the Bronze G1, it is just how the updates roll out. Reason why I say this is because I have to G1's. My bronze one has had 2 updates, just got the latest one this past weekend and my black G1 is still on RC19..Purchased both of them the same day at the Tmobile store on release date..

No need for manual. I got the update! :) My service was out all day then it came back at night and finally it said for me to update so for those with out it if you lose service for hours OTA might be comign! :eek:
