Just wanted to thanks kazujiju, for the great great find to play video @ one of my favorite sites. I'm one part gamer and this will come in super handy when i'm board and on the road. So the android can only play mp4 video files? I wonder how youtube can play videos since that runs on flash ( don't know about the mobile version)

Again thanks for posting this!

I am by no means an expert in the field of video encoding, etc., but I do know that when you upload a video to youtube, they are converted on their server to mp4 format. I'm pretty sure the flash player just transcodes the mp4 to flv on the fly.

In any case, I know a simple way to download any youtube video to your computer in mp4 format - already ready to laugh at continuously on your G1 - in case anyone wants it... PM me if interested.
