Hi,

Any one who can provide us with a working download link, so could update the device ourself using the "/update.zip" method again :)

The RC30 update has been put on hold, as there are reported issues with the update.

It would be severely unadvisable to update to a broken software version, don't you think?

Just wait for it to come to you OTA...that way you know it's a working version.

I still haven't gotten the RC28 or RC29 OTA...

Hmms, does OTA work for every phone or does it have to be on the correct network in the us or uk? Im neither of those places and im betting i aint the only one =)
Wish there was an check for updates button somewhere in the software but ill do just fine with the update.zip method!

I'm wondering the same as well. UK phones seem have build as kila-uk. Mine is kila-user. Can someone with a US G1 confirm what their build label says?

Yes OTA also works on non T-Mobile networks. I'm on TeliaSonera and received RC29 here by the day. And it came to me through EDGE. Seems to me that Google seeds those updates and not the Carrier themselves, which in my case makes me happy :)
