It should be compatible. However, a 16GB class 2 will be extremely slow. Might want to wait for class 4 or 6 to come out.

Toooo slow ifyou ask me. I think refer to the class ratings below. Imagine moving 16GB at 2MB. A bit slow.


Class 2: 2 MB/s
Class 4: 4 MB/s
Class 6: 6 MB/s

As long as it's a microSD 16gb or lower (for now), G1 supports it, so in this case it doesn't matter. BUT if G1 only supports Class 4 speeds (i dont know what it actually supports), you'd be wasting money buying a Class 6. Since it's more expensive and G1 may not transfer data at that speed.

i purchased a sandisk 16gb class off ebay..no problems..i usually transfer 1 to 2 gigs at a time and its only like a min or less to transfer..not slow to me
