Awkward Problem

I'm experiencing two problems with my G1, and I was wondering if anyone else has these problems:


1) When I plug the charger into my phone, the little icon with the percentage reminaing no longer appears briefly on the screen. it doesnt appear at all. any reason? or fix?


2) Sometimes I wont get a notification of a text/email/im/mms message when i have notification & vibration on, and to maximum loudness. any reasons/fixes?

I experience both issues since the RC29 update. Have not tried hard boot because I heard it bad for the phone????

1. as for this issue, i brought it up on another thread and it seems that it has disappeared since the first OTA was implemented...

2. You might want to check some of your settings to make sure they are supposed to be...

please believe i have checked my settings each time.. i've just had to restart the phone and that seems to be a temporary fix.


and the battery status screen/thing has been removed since the OTA? because i recieved it the other day and now it doesnt display itself.. so sad

my notifications arent working as well either. sometimes it will go on sometimes it wont.. everything is on loud on my phone so i dont know what is wrong with it.. i will try taking out the battery and do a soft reset or something...

we're theorizing that, after the OTA update, you wont see the percentage anymore.
