Is anyone in CA doing the warranty exchange program? I am, sadly.

did you buy yours online or in the store? Also whats the problem? I took mine back into the store and told them my screen was creeking and they made the excange for a brand new one on the spot with no trouble. Hope that helps you. Remember you have 30 days from your original date of purchase but they did say that if i didnt have my reciept they wouldnt have been able to help in the store. So hand onto your receipt.

If I ordered mine over the phone, would I be able to go exchange it at my local store if I experience any problems?

I would like to know something. I bought my G1 off of craigslist back in Feb 09, and I was woundering if I could still get a warranty exchange even though I'm not the original purchaser of the phone. My touch on the phonw will stop responding when I plug my phone in to the wall charger and it also will not charge past 88%. Would I still be able to get a warranty exchange on it?

i went through (actually still going through) a warrante exchange. order a new phone over the phone had it a week had issues, They sent a new phone, swapped sim cards and mailed back the bad phone. They basicly bill you for a second phone until they receive the phone back, BUT!@#!@ There is a 30 day wait AFTER the phone is returned before the credit appears. Also you can exchange the phone at the store IF your store has them. I am in ohio and NO phone has them since they are not offered due to the lack of 3g coverage.
