G1 loose feeling to it? Plz compare with my video

I thought mine was normal and has been bothering me a little bit, but I've been reading that some feel really good and don't have this play to the keyboard, check out my video. I am not forcing it at all just gently moving it.

Mine seems to be the same way. I dont really notice it though unless im taking a picture.

Mine is the same way - when I talk and it is next to my ear - as I move around I can feel screen moving gently just a little bit.

I may request replacement in a few days until my re-search is completed on the given issue.

mine is like that too.... hey u never know they might make the g1 like the motorola slide where they make u return it for a newer version of a g1 or possibly a g2.. ha

Mines the same. I just called TMO to exchange it for a new one today. It should be here within:) 7 business days. I get to keep mine until I get the new one too. Then send the wobbler back.

Mine is the same too, but bending it like that ain't gonna help. Notice how every single person in this thread reports theirs being the same too... Whats the point getting a replacement? It will do the same thing..

one of my friend got it and its not like that at all. its really stiff and steady.

My second G1 is like that, and when taking pics or making a call it bugs me... its goin back


I dont think my first one was as loose- i dont recall noticing it.. but hard to say for sure now..

mine is the same, I went to TMO Store today to check out the Demo and they all the same even the manager's G1 is the same thing. I was thinking about doing an exchange but i dont have any proof that mine is different than the others.

Mines like that, never noticed tbh and looking at the design of the phone its safe to say that all will do that eventuallyas its only mounted to the main body on the right hand side looking at the phone , now if yours moved that much on the right hand side when closed i think it would be something to be concerned about

Wierd! i just exchanged mine today because the damn creek came back. This one has a rock solid screen, unlike my first and im wondering if the creek had to do with the screen being so loose. My first one seemed to be as loose as yours. You might want to take it back the store with your receipt. As long as its still within the return date you should be able to walk in with your old one and walk out with a new one. make sure you get a good look at the new screen before they exchange it because they told me they could only exchange it once in the store for the screen creek.
