Thats a sticker. laser would rip that phone in half. and im no pro but that would be a pretty hard spot for a laser to do its business.

lol, I just can't believe that it didn't destory the plastic on the phone. If it is real then thats cool but I still think its a sticker. LOL:p

Only things i know of getting laser etched are metals, hard plastic (Not little phone plastic), wood and w.e IDK.

Looks cool. and is that caption america?

laser etch?? i wonder if that constitutes modification of the physical phone and therefore voids your warranty?? Most likely... gj

A better idea would of been to ecth the back of the cover. Usually when they send you a new phone they ask you to keep the battery and back cover.

Behind the screen is anodized aluminum. Not plastic.

Why, you're not changing the internals or anything. It's kinda like putting a skin on your phone...just more permanent.

It was done with a laser. Lasers are used in many different applications from sigage to surgery. The product he showed is a laser used in the sign industry. I used to own one of those laser engravers when I had a sign company. The laser engraver is hooked up to a computer and using software the image is etchen onto almost any type of material you. It does not harm the item.
I think this shows great insight and will allow you to identify your phone if it is lost or stolen.
