Preparation:
1. Test to see if your three button combo works, if not do NOT continue!
2. Always make sure that your phone at least 50 to 75% fully charged ...preferably 100% vol.
3. Backup your data, use an app like: Titanium Backup, Backup My, AppSaver, SMS Backup (for storing SMS), etc.
4. Turn off Lagfix! (if enabled).

Flashen van origineel/custom Froyo naar Lite'ning ROM 5.x
1 - Download the Lite'ning ROM and place it on the internal sdcard
1a - If you do not have CWM recovery, flash first using the correct kernel Gingerbread-GT-I9000-XWJVH-stock-kernel+hacks.tar (http://www.multiupload.com/PKWEDE91UR) (6.11 MB) PDA with répartition OFF and auto reboot. Remove the battery from yourdevice and reinsert it.
2 - Put your phone on a 3 button combo in Recovery Mode (Vol UP + Home + Power on) and select the "Wipe data / factory reset" option, then select"Yes - delete all user data.
3 - Select the 'wipe cache partition "option, then select" Yes - Wipe Cache'.
5 - Choose "Install from zip sdcard"
6 - Then "choose zip from sdcard"
7 - Now, in the list that you see on the zip file you just have put this on your phone.
8 - select the zip file, then choose "Yes -"
9 - The ROM is flashed now. After flashing you come back into the recoverymenu ... choose now 2x "+++++ +++++" backup option in that menu.
10 - Choose "reboot system now" and your phone starts in the new Lite'ningROM.
11 - Once the phone has started and you get to choose which launcher youwant to choose the LauncherPro.
Congratulations, you now have the Lite'ning ROM installed.
