Data service outage?

Anyone else experiencing data service outage?
West side of Phoenix I have only phone service this morning (Wed)

I get the Network not available error every once in a while. Most people say power cycling your phone works. Others say to turn on the 2G networks only option in the settings then turn it back off. I usually just wait a little while and it will come up again.

I don't know if it's a device issue or a 3G issue. Anyone?

EDIT: I'm in Houston, TX by the way.

I believe there is a data outage because both 2G/3G doesn't work for me right now, and I live in Los Angeles.

I've gone through restarting and limiting the networks, but still nothing. The GSM/Edge networks are not showing up.

Hopefully it will resolve itself.

I have consistantly had this issue since the end of the free service week on the 29th. Im in utah, no 3g, and have power cycled, hard reset,always on 2g only setting and cleared caches...all have OCCASIONALY worked. WIFI always works proving no hardware/browser issue, its all tmo or data service based.

Mine started with the problems at the end of the free service period as well. I wonder if it is actually some setting on the actual services when they set them up.

3G/2G services appear to be back up and seem quicker than before. No increase in number of service bars though.

I think the Data Service Outage had something to do with OBAMA winning the presidency alot of people making phonecalls couldnt get through lines were filled with people celebrating.

Back up for me as of an hour or so ago.

I turned my phone off one last time for a minute, turned it back on and voila.

There was a service outage until about 930am in phoenix, it is up and running now. If you are having problems now just turn off and on this should resolve your problems.

I only know because I am in phoenix and have three people with the g1 as well. all of our 3g came on around the same time.

I experience data outage too in California. It started around 12 midnight to 6 am.
