I bought my G1 over the weekend, Saturday to be exact. Im very excited for it to arrive and i was wondering, if any of you ordered a G1 from t-mobile website and how long did it take for you to get your phone?

I bought mine on sunday, I called T-Mobile and they told me its backordered till the 10th, and I should expect it on the 11th.

So expect you G1 next monday.

well i pre-ordered mine early and it came three weeks later which was normal for everyone who pre-ordered.
since you are ordering after the release, probably UPS ground shipping (3-6 days ?)
that's my guess.

i will never order via online again.

The fact i cant take it into a tmobile owned store and exchange it is absolutly ridiculous.

I ordered mine around midnight when they went on sale the 22nd and got it the next day. Feel bad for the pre-order people.

FYI...if anyone is still thinking about ordering, don't do it online. I ordered over the phone last night (1-800-tmobile) and they told me that the online center doesn't have any more phones, so they're all on backorder. The phone center (yes, they're very separate) still has black and brown and I ordered black and I have a tracking number this morning. She told me Tomorrow at the earliest, Friday at the latest.

You should have insisted and told them you are not taking "NO" for an answer. Some reps dont just get it... But again, it depends why you are exchanging...

Buying online is good, just the waiting part sux

i decided i want the brown one.. and according to the rep i spoke with, the brown ones are soldout...... so i wanted to go to a store and get the brown one. being today is the last day of my 14 day deal.

Nice to know the phone center might be faster, we planned to order over the phone this week instead of online to make sure the plan is correct and data plan is right.

Just to follow up on this, UPS says "Out for Delivery". So that was order at 11 PM Monday night. Ship Tuesday morning. Delivery Wednesday.

ok i just got off the phone with T-mobile, and what they said was if you orderd between the 1st and the 5th then you would get your phone before or at the 10th of november if you ordered after that then you wouldnt get your phone till the 24th at the earlist. i cant wait:)

two other questions: was this an upgrade?

do you have a tracking number yet?

what city ar eyou in?

i ordered mine(as an upgrade) saturday night, and still haven't had any change in anything...keep us posted.

i called customer care and eventually they told me that my phone was still being processed but i got my tracking number so i called 1-800-tmobile and again eventually i got a person who asked me for T# and told me the info about the dates and told me to enjoy lol i live in Louisville ky and it wasnt an upgrade but i got a discount of like 30 or so dollors
