To hook up your phone to your laptop so you will have internet connection on your laptop.

Please do a search next time because there's several topics on it already.

And just think you spent all that time writing that when you could have just as easily moved onto the next thread.

this is pointless for me... in my case, the G1 was purchased so i wouldnt have to carry my laptop around anymore..

The day I can plug a usb drive into my phone and have decent enough processor and graphics to play games on it will be a good day. :cool:

Keep in mind that this is still just a handheld phone. It will be a while before handhelds will replace laptops for mobile computing...
