creaks more then my floor

since I got my g1 its been creaking but it wasn't that bad . But as time went on it's geting worse . I remember a thread a while back saying u can fix it. But I search and I couldn't find it. I don't know how this would be fixable but I heard it is . Should I get a new phone or fix the creaking my self ? Thanks

The fix is very simple and it should not void the warranty...

Follow this link and see what needs to be "shaved" ... it took me 2-3 seconds to fix this issue and have it "shaved" ... just make sure you have very sharp razor and you cn't have your hands shaking :) ...

Replacement WILL be the same as all of the G1 are produced the same way and there is no news this issue will be removed with the new devices as it was not recognized as the defect.

So I already did the rubbing fix and now the hinge is making alot of noise i am getting really annoyed i am already getting a new phone but is there any thing i can do until i get my new one anything will fix

I don't see how this would fix it . Bc the creaking is coming from everywhere not just that corner .

Bottom line just send the phone back and order another one, and tell the csr that you need another sim card... I did that and got a new g1 that doesn't creek at all, and the screen is perfect.... its almost as solid in feel and motion of the screen like my tmo wing.
