gmail problems

i been having this problem for awhile now and was hoping someone on this board can help. everytime i get a new gmail or someone sends me a pictures on gmail i can never veiw them. it just shows boxes with question marks in them, but when i veiw my gmail on a computer everythings fine. anybody else having this problem??? any way to fix it??

I have not had this problem yet.

You simply have to download the attachment/picture. My only guess is your connection is too weak or not fast enough and it times out (thats my best first guess).

i have 3g everywhere i go. its been like this since i got the phone

That is odd then. I have yet to have an attachment problem (or picture not show up in an email).

Have you tested different attachment types and simply sent it to yourself to see if it is your phone, the connection or the type of attachment?

I have the same thing pictures don't show up in the gmail program but if I go through the browser they are there

I've had the same issue as well..... I can't seem to see the pic's.

Ditto. Images do not load inline. What you are seeing is the image placeholder icon. You can view it as an attachment though. Works the same way in the POP3 email app.

yup i was having the same issues, that why i trashed the lil gmail icon, and just go straight through the browser

glad to see other people are having the same problem lol. i was also thinking of just trashing the email icon and just use the browser but i really dont wanna do al that just to check my mail. hope someone can figure it out.

mine show up as attachments with mini-preview alongside two buttons "download" and "preview"

if you have an email with inline images (html email) then you should see a "show pictures" button

Most of the time when I have this issues, there's a button labeled "Show Images" at the top of the e-mail.

If you click that, it will display the images. It happens a lot when I get e-mails from Playstation Underground.

yeah i click that button and nothin happens.
