using G1 as internet connection?

Is this possible??
I'm having some problems connecting to the internet from att on my laptop and I want to know if I can connect to the internet on my computer using my G1 internet??

Not at this time , you can not use your phone as a modem . maybe in the future they have hinted at it.

you can get another phone, and use it as modem with G1 option
make sure you use epc.tmobile.com as APN

Alright Buddy you are in luck... You can turn your G1 into a proxy connection for using the internet on your pc or laptop that will run all programs that access internet....get a program called "proxifier" then go to this site to get a non market application called "tetherbot" for the g1. The web site has pretty good directions and their are some good threads out there with help. I know all about this process and can help you solve almost any problem you will encounter I even have some good batch files written up to make the process easier just pm if you run into any trouble here is the link:

Hi there. I will try to set up my pc as well. Will let you guys know if I am succsesfull. It would be nice if we could just plug into any computer and start browsing with built in modem programs.
