I just wanted to share the pics I took of my phone updating to RC29. Forgive me if pics have been posted a billion times already. I've been away from a computer for a few days so I could well be behind on the news...
But, I took them, so I figured I'd share them anyway...
I've attached them to this post, or you can view them HERE (http://g1.imaslacker.net/ota)
I think the first 2 pics are of downloading the update, and then applying the update
The 3rd pic is just a shot of my info showing RC29
The rest of the pics are of the new dialog when you connect via USB to your computer. It gives you an audible notification tone, and then shows up in the notification bar.
And in the last pic, the glare hides the other option, which says "Don't mount". If you tap that option, the notification goes away and won't come back until you re-connect the phone to the computer.

yeah... like i said, I was outta town. I was laying in bed next to my wife who was asleep. I was playing on my G1, of course, and the "there is an update available" thing popped up... I hopped out of bed to get my camera. Surprised I didn't wake her.

@ the new dialog when you connect via USB to your computer
i had a friend who msgd me "how do u get the g1 to be recognized by the computer via usb?!?!" I told him he had to enable the "Use as mass storage device" thing in the settings. He writes back saying he's been tryin to get it to work for 30 min! lol
but yea just noticed that "use as mass storage device" option is gone in the settings menu

LOL! I just figured this out. i am having SD card drama and was looking for that option (I got the dialog but thought the menu option would still be there). It's gone, gone with RC29. But for now I got no SD card recognition either. :(

Im not sure, but it looks like that is the picture that is shown while the update is actually installing. Looks like something being applied or added to the chip.
