in the middle of nowhere

So I haven't really tried the gps out except once when I first got it and it did what it was suppose to do. Anyways the last 2 times it hasn't worked. I search for a best buy and it finds me a bestbuy in new york when I live in MD wtf .So then I search for my location and it keeps saying cannot find current location and it will keep trying. I have my gps thing on cuz I just checked it . So why isn't it finding my location? Thanks


Ps I don't if its my g1 or its the ac website but everytime I want to move the (what's that little line bar called?) Bar to type somewhere elese it doesn't go where I want it to. Also u can't move the page when your typeing something . And everytime I get outta of typeing then go back the whole think gets highlighted when I don't want it highlighted but when I do its not. O and it doesn't let u view what your typeing as u type u know what I mean? I think its just the ac website but maybe I'm wrong.

No its the second or 3rd time. And nah son I shouldn't have to wait 10 to 15 mins to find my location it should find it right away.

What was the weather like on each day? Out here in the Great North"wet" there were days that the rain, cloud cover and time of day made things difficult while doing gps surveying...

I said if its the first time you ever use the gps. This is coming from BB's, they always say the first time takes a long time. The phone should definetly not take 15 minutes to find you.

Mine usually finds me but it takes about 2-3 minutes, the gps sucks compared to my bb.
