Notifications stop making sound

Anyone notice that occasionally you just stop getting sounds for notifications? This happened to me yesterday for the second time. Not sure exactly what triggered it, but at some point during the day I stopped getting any more sounds for notifications. The notifications do still come in, but there's no sound even at max volume.

A reboot fixes it, but I don't want to have to be rebooting all the time just to avoid this.

Yeah, theres been a few thread on this already. Mine was doing it too- i think it was also noted in the android bug reporting on google code, so maybe we'll get a fix for it soon.

I am on my third day since the last time I had this issue (knock wood). It's a really bad thing when you depend on your alarm and other notification throughout the day like I do. I hope for a solution fast.
