UNLOCKING the G1 by yourself...

so i thought due to this phone being open source that people would figgure out a way to unlock the phone themselves?!

without having to pay for unlocking nor getting the code from tmobile...

anything on this yet? do you guys think there might be a way down the road?

Am sure a developer can create such an app. Am sure with time one will come out.

Whats the big deal with calling tmobile tho? its free just tell them your traveling to europe.
