If my g1 roams on data, will i get charged up the ying yang for data roming?

I'm new to tmobile and i just saw that the setting on my g1 was set to auto roam data, and wondered if i was going to get a 300 charge on my next tmobile bill.

i have a htc shadow with tmobile atm (still got a few weeks before i can upgrade to a g1) with the data plan and ive never gotten charged for data roaming. not that i really travel a lot but as long as your using in the US i think youll be fine.

If i remember right tmobile has no roaming charge.. don't quote me on that as I never roam anyways, but i've also had them since Voicestream and could just be grandfathered into a package that doesn't charge for roaming.
