UK users - MSN?

Sorry if this is a repost. I could not find anything on this specific subject.

Why do I gain acess to my MSN? One of the reasons for getting the G1 was the MSN IM feature but I seem to only be able to get Google Talk, this is not the end of the world but it would be good to have all the IM that was quoted when the device was released.

Any help is appreciated.

theres a few posts about MSN on here. It seems that for some reason or another the UK got bumped when it came to MSN, AIM etc and were only left with gtalk.

I've got a US version imported to Switzerland (msn, aim, gtalk)
Only gtalk work. The aim and msn don't use the data but send the messages with sms ! (???)
This function isn't supported by my carrier (SUNRISE).
It work only over wifi. I think it's why the EU version don't have these clients on the G1.

On the market you can found a variety of app for using MSN (like Palringo)..
