Hi,

I've purchased a HTC incredible S (incl. front-facing camera).

But for the life of me, I can't find an app that allows me to video chat with my wife's PC. For real?

Qik and Tango are phone <-> phone chat only (apparently), and Skype and Google video Chat are "coming soon" (yeah, right).

I'd be happy with something allowing android <-> Windows video chat, but would prefer something cross-platform:

(PC, MAC, UNIX, Linux, Android, iOS) <-> (PC, MAC, UNIX, Linux, Android, iOS)

But I haven't found any. Have you?

Peter

Not that I know of -- although on my Nexus S 4G I have successfully communicated via Android <-> PC through GTalk video chat.

Im pretty sure Google talk does this, but only in 2.34.

Yeah, I'm aware Google Talk will do it. My HTC incredible S is only 2.3.3, so that's not an option here. Also, somebody tried out Yahoo! but was disappointed (http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-vega-vega-modaco-com/328935/android-windows-video-chat/).
Sounds like I was right, there isn't something for 2.3.3 and PCs. Wow, I'm surprised.

Tango doesn't allow me to video chat with my wife's PC. That is my #1 requirement. Thanks for your time and input, though.

Also, try Skype - sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
