Before i start I just want to say that I am not bashing new people, this is a community and new people are good.
However what i would like to see is a feature that the first time a new user clicks the 'Post New Thread' button they get redirected to a notice which asks them if they have searched the forums to see if anyone has posted this question before. they then have the option of continuing to post or being redirected to the search page.
The other option is that a search is done on the title of their Thread title automatically, and they get a page of links to the other times that question was raised.
Like I said I'm not bashing Newbies, but how many times can you see threads entitled 'Does the G1 have a flash player?' without it getting to you.
